Let me help you out, racism is me hating you because youÆre Chinese. Not because of what you do for a living or because of what you think. I hate you because youÆre Chinese. thatÆs racism.
Now I really don't hate you because youÆre Chinese, and I don't even hate isk farmers because they are Chinese. I hate the system that keeps the people in power to make un-educated people or people that are just in bad circumstances play a game for 23 hours a day so that they can sell an imaginary item to people for real world money.
I hope that helps you with what racism is. You do a disservice to everyone who has every protested or fought to abolish racism because you sir apply it to places it is not applicable.
Now to the topic at hand, most of the responses for GTC trade use the example that it is not injecting new isk into the game itÆs just shifting isk from one person to another. With that logic then all those fancy websites out there selling isk should be allowed to do so. They too are just shifting isk around and not introducing new isk into the game.
The truth is that people who are ahead in most any mmo are there because they are lacking something in real life. Be it a job, a family, a girl/boy friend, or any other type of RL responsibility. Then here comes john Q the rl successful person that they loathe, and instead of trudging through the game for 30+ hours a week they simply slap Mr. Amex down and buy what they need and enjoy the leisure time they have in the game. Now these people who have, at least in their mind, beaten them in RL are now taking away your "uberness" in the game. And so here they are screaming away about it. Let it go people, itÆs a game. Now if you want to talk about CCP working to remove the market that supports isk farming in the first place I am all for it.
